Messege from the King!
Greetings Populace!

As most of you who were at your park last weekend already know, Fitz
and I have brought War unto the Desert Winds. Each Province has been
bestowed a certain number of lands to rule over. The Monarch of each
province has been charged with bequeething these lands to three
individual people who will become land owners. Each Land owner will
get the chance to try his/her hand at Kingdom Domination. The Land
owners should know who they are by now and be gearing up for the war
to come.

What's that you say? You have not been chosen as a land owner? By
the gods that must be remedied! To show how benevolent our rulership
wil be, We have decided to give every member of the Desert Winds the
chance to become a land owner by their own rights. We will be
auctioning three lands in each province to allow everybody the chance
to join in on what looks to be one of the funnest kingdom-wide games
yet played in our fair lands! Here is how the auction will work.

The auction will be a silent auction. Bidding currency will be
Mundania US dollars only (thats right folks it's fundraising time!).
Each person wishing to place a bid will email their highest bid to me
at lpb81 AT yahoo DOT com. Bid amounts will be increased by whole
dollar amounts until the three highest bidders from each province are
decided. Bidding will close on December 13th at 12:01 AM (thats
right, one whole minute after midnight). SO come one, come all, and
grab your chance to clean up in the coming march to War!

Do I have to own land to participate? Heavens no. This game is free
for everybody and in no way are we saying you must pay to play. All
battles within the war will be played out during a normal park day.
In these battles everybody, Land owner or not, will take the field
and either bring their team to victory, or perish bravely on the
newly reddened ground.

The rules for the landed game will be posted to a website and
announced soon for everybody to peruse and build their strategy. The
final edition of the land map will be posted on the same website as
soon as the auction is over and the first turn will begin imediatly
thereafter. Good hunting and enjoy.
